Kelly Drobeck
Kelly is currently the Varsity Head Coach at Cathedral Catholic High School in Del Mar. In her 15 years as head coach her teams have won 13 Western League Titles, 14 CIF Titles, 4 Southern California Regional Titles, and they just won their 4th State Championship Title this Fall! Kelly previously coached at Coast Volleyball Club in Sorrento Valley. She played collegiately at San Francisco State where she still holds the school record for kills and digs in a single season. In addition to coaching indoor, Kelly also has extensive experience both coaching and playing on the beach. She currently holds a AAA rating and competes at the professional level. She plans to start the first ever high school sand volleyball league in the spring of 2013. Kelly is married to Ron and they have two children Jenna (8) and Dustin (6).
Kelly has been working the La Jolla Volleyball Summer beach camps for the past two summers and seems to have an endless supply of creative drills for our beach campers, along with her many years of coaching experience… We are excited to have Kelly coaching with us!
